Psychology at Work,
Empowering Performance

Successful organisations recognise the need to make the most of their best asset, their people. Psychology is increasingly being used in the workplace to develop resilient staff who can adapt easily to change, and to help boost productivity through increased motivation and engagement.

Challenge of Change

CoC Dream Team

This work is based on a systems-theory approach to team and organisational structure.  With a proven track record in significantly improving team performance, CoC Dream Team can be used very effectively to help functioning teams achieve peak performance but is equally applicable with teams where there are particular issues hampering performance.

CoC Dream Team enables and amplifies the talents and expertise of individual team members as well as binding the team together into a potent force.  CoC Dream Teams are equipped to exploit the differences and similarities of their members in the interests of the common team purpose, and members are supported through developing mutual trust, respect and openness.

The team itself identifies benchmark criteria for successful team performance before rating their own team on each criterion.  Individual team members then generate blockers and facilitators to working with each other team member, which are discussed in paired exchanges.  The feedback is used to generate individual and team action plans, based on strengths and development needs uncovered in the discussion.  The process is managed in a way which facilitates change, emphasising the unique contribution of each team member to the success of the overall team.
